Hi Ho Rowdy Eddie

This is Rowdy Eddie:

Now you may be saying, "That's one fine lookin Liver and White Brittany, where did he come from"? I'll tell you, the kind folks at American Brittany Rescue found him at a not too kosher shelter and bailed him out before anything horrible happened to him. I know being in a shelter is bad enough but you know what happens when dogs and kitties and other animals linger there too long. But let's not go down that road right now...

So he was rescued and now he lives with Annie!!! His mom says he needs some fattening up and that might be hard because he sounds like he's so happy he's running off all the weight he's putting on! He's also a tall Brittany like me so that makes me feel good - like I'm not the only one who's tall and leggy!

Here are some more pictures of Rowdy and Annie together...

This is just another example that if you want a pure breed or mutt check out the rescues! There are ton's of great pooches that need homes. Also, I know it's the holidays and all but please don't buy a pet just because you are all caught up in the glory and splendor of it all. Be sure you really want an animal, be sure you are prepared to take care of it, clean up after it, and most importantly - love it. If you can't do that, don't get one.

Hooray for Rowdy Eddie and Annie and thank you to their parents for the great rescue!!!!!

Annie!!We are so happy for Rowdy Eddie. He has found someone that will love him and give him a good home ..Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring - it was peace.

I come from a rescue home so know the relief you get when a nice family come and collect you and take you home and love you. Actually, my new family really spoil me....and I love it!

Thanks for making me famous, Boomer! My mom has been telling me to come inside and look at my profile and I finally have figured out how to use my dad's email account to reply! It's good to know you're a tall britt, too. I was starting to feel like a giant around Annie. Somebody at PetsMart yesterday acutally thought I was a Pointer!
